What is FFA?

 



    FFA provides students with leadership and skill development opportunities to prepare them for careers of tomorrow. FFA is also an extension on what students learn in the classroom.

            To become a member of the FFA, students must be enrolled in an Agriculture class or have been enrolled with in one year. We will have regular member meetings once a month and I will send out notices in advance. Team practices are once a week. There will be NO buses provided for FFA activities after school. Students must have their own transportation home from meetings and practices. Listed below are a few of the activities in which your child can become involved with:

            FFA dues are $20.00 for a one-year membership. Checks can be made payable to Q.I. Roberts Middle School.  The dues paid give the student’s membership at the Local, State and National levels. They will also receive a subscription to New Horizons, the FFA member magazine. Q.I. FFA t-shirts will also be on sale through out the year. The cost is $12.00.
